Oh man, 100 years of independence.
First, I'll share this video. Jean Sibelius, Finlandia. Enjoy
What I most love about my home country is truly the nature. How clean and lush it is, 187 888 lakes, the peace, long summer days. I could never imagine living somewhere else nor do I really want to.
I mean with a view like this, this is home to me.
I'm not the best with words but I do have to thank my grandfather for his sacrifice during the WW2, he went in voluntarily as a young man, came back scarred but alive. Died earlier this year at the age of 96, would've been 97 at the end of summer. Lived a good long life, shame you had to go but maybe we'll see someday when it's time.
It's all thanks to you and all the other brave men and women who fought for our country, that we get to celebrate 100 years of independence today.
Thank you

1 year anniversary!
Last week was my 1 year anniversary at the game studio I work at! Holy shit does the time fly! :faint: I feel like I've learned so much during that time and at the same, still haven't been able to fully absorb the massive amount of info that is being flooded into my brain. xD I guess it's one of those things you have have to give plenty of time to but damn, it's a lot. But yeah it has been otherwise great time, it was for the longest the job I had always wanted and I'm not disappointed at all. Sure there were aspects I didn't know I would have to do, such as bug fixing and support work for other teams but it's been great still. And if I ever felt that something was like, not sure what to do, felt like asking a dumb question. It's alright, can ask all the dumb questions and support is there. I hope to stay there for as long as they let me. :D
It is I!
Well damn, it has been a long time since I last wrote a journal. At the time though, feels like a really short time. Weird how time flows sometimes. But yeah, still working at the game company! It has been a blast with ups and downs. Ups being lot of cool stuff that I've worked ona and how much I've learned and improved. And downs, it can be stressful as fuck when you get flooded by truckload of info and you're just trying to get it in or if something feels so hard and you feel like the dumbest person around. :D Definitely have felt the grips of imposter syndrome and mostly it's just in my head. Like the support I've been getting from my team is just top notch, couldn't ask for better. Of course there's still a lot I can improve on, at this point it's speed but working on it. It is hard to improve on speed at this point though when pretty much everything is still new. But yeah, crazy how fast time has gone by. Feels like I just got accepted in and before that was living back in
Right, BIG NEWS
I'm moving to another to work as a 3D artist in a video game company! UK specifically! So uh, more silence than usual. Not sure how many are still watching me here, I know there's still some and really appreciate the support! Been my dream to work in games and here it finally is! Super excited, super busy with everything. I was hoping I could get back to 2D, maybe now that I don't have to work on my 3D portfolio so aggressively. :D But yeah! Feels so weird. Looking forward to this new chapter in my life!
OPEN FOR SKETCH COMMISSIONS!
Been a while but I am currently open for sketch commissions! You can find the details and pricing here! No points this time, just money. In need of money to pay my programs so for now I can do sketch commissions only, as I also work on my portfolio. It's a lot of work to make a presentable portfolio so working hard on that and once it's in good state I can start looking into make more 2D again!
